Psalms from the Paleo-Hebrew began with my desire for a deeper understanding of the Word of YAHA’UAHA. It began not long after I realized that the Torah was eternal and that YAH’s instructions were true and applicable for our time.  I wanted to know more. The psalms had always had a special place in my heart and, as time progressed, I decided to set the psalms to music. It was during my work translating the Paleo-Hebrew I found an ancient people, a simpler lifestyle, and a different mindset. Thus, the process of learning the original text became a journey. This path led me to a great many discoveries: I recognized the beauty of the original language—the Paleo-Hebrew. I also learned the inherent rhythm within the text.

The work before you is not a mechanical translation nor is it a one-word-for-one-word exchange from Hebrew to English. We have those. This work is a lyrical adaptation of the many possibilities hidden in the Paleo-Hebrew kathub,  arranged with consideration for the poetic and musical intent of the original writer. I have also attempted to convey Hebraic thought and idioms pray you are as enriched with the reading as I was with the transcribing.

Psalms in the Paleo Volume I includes Psalms 1-41, ‘The Songs of Ascending’ (Psalms 120-134), ‘The Song of Hannah’, and ‘The Word of Yaha’uaha That Exists To Mika the Morasti’.
