WELL, that’s awkward. I might as well get that out of the way from the start, the awkward part. I’m referring to ‘Mary Magdalene: Wife of Messiah.’ I never imagined I’d be the one to write such a book and yet here we are having this discussion. It started with a single observation—the bottle of nard episode—which had been proceeded beforehand with a question. Was it humanly possible for Yahusha HaMashiach to take a wife? Yeah, that one. But then, just because the answer was a simple yes doesn’t mean he went through with it. Anywho, it was with the nard episode that this investigation began. I really didn’t think anything would come of it but pulled the string anyhow. I pulled the string. And pulled again. And then I kept on pulling and pulling, and lo and behold, there was seemingly no end to what was unraveling.
I began seeing the Wife of Mashiach all throughout canonical Scripture as well as the extra-Biblical stuff, even in the Tanakh. People have since told me, “If Messiah took a wife, then she would have been spoken about.” On that point, I disagree with the premise. It’s irrelevant though. Because she’s most certainly talked about. Like any treasure, you just have to know where to look. The picture that was forming was indeed a beautiful one. To some the idea of Yahusha taking a wife is a terrible thought but it is their loss. Finally, it occurred to me, Why has nobody else told the story? This isn’t your DaVinci Code holy grail stuff, no. I will remind you again that this is the Bible. And so, there I was with a lap-full of intricate pieces, and we’re talking about the mysteries of heaven here. I knew right then and there that if I didn’t tell it, somebody else would. I hope you will find joy in the reading of this book, just as I did in its discovery.
